This past weekend we welcomed 3 crew members who joined us in preparing for Academy 31.
The virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31 is a woman of strength and valor – truly a force to be reckoned with. We think the same could be said of these young women. We are so honored to have them serving with us.
Thank you to Alexandra, Ellen, and Leah for giving of themselves and making the sacrifice to spend the next 2 weeks at the farm helping to make Academy 31 happen. As Mama L said, you are the oil that makes our engines run smooth, the sunshine on our cloudy days, the water that floats our boats, the chocolate chips in our cookies. We love you dearly and thank God for the blessing you are!
We enjoyed planning and prayer times together on Saturday…in addition to a mega grocery shopping trip to get enough food for 25 people for an entire week. That’s a lot of food to pack into a pantry!
Sunday afternoon was our reception for the girls and their families. This is a wonderful time because we get to eat amazing food AND meet all of the girls we’ll be doing life with for the next 2 weeks! Both of these are very exciting prospects.
What a great group of young ladies. 🙂 We have an exciting schedule of activities and classes prepared, and high expectations for God to meet with us and reveal Himself to us. Pray that none of us leave unchanged, and that our hearts would be open for all the riches He has in store for us. Pray with us that through His might, we would be strong, virtuous women of God such that we are truly a force to be reckoned with.
