After breakfast the most important hour of the day arrives. Each girl gets to spend 1 precious  hour with just them and God. It’s the quietest hour of the day and the one that is one of the most wonderful gifts we can give our girls. Watching them and listening to them tell how God is working in their lives is one of the most beautiful things you can ever see.

Goosemama’s class was definitely the tastiest class of the day. The girls learned about preparing a whole chicken and making broth, how to make cheese, homemade chocolate syrup, and enchilada sauce. Parents, you might want to test these skills when the girls get back from camp cause the food is really really good!

“From tasty, freshly made mozzarella, to understanding that the daunting standard of the virtuous woman is completed and fulfilled by Christ – the One whom she is modeled after – today was delicious, inspirational and definitely full of joy.” -Cherith

Mrs Adams gave us a wonderful talk about the Proverbs 31 woman.

Mrs Adams teaching on the Proverbs 31 woman

“The Proverbs 31 woman is excellent.   But she’s not our goal.  Our goal is Jesus.   We are being conformed to the image of Jesus.  She’s the standard, and it looks like an impossible standard.  There are 2 things about this standard:  1- Jesus fulfilled it.  He did it, and He did it better.  And 2 – He’s making us into that person. “- Mrs Adams
